Road Scholar is the program name of Elderhostel, Inc. Elderhostel, founded in 1975, is the world’s largest not-for-profit educational travel organization for older adults. The organization’s mission is to provide educational opportunities through travel in order to encourage learning, the sharing of new ideas and community amongst older adults.
