Design Immersion 2016 is a unique two-day program for first-year students to meet and collaborate on fun design challenges before you even take your first class. The program is a great way to meet fellow students, work with upper-class engineers from across the College, and be introduced to team environments that are essential to Michigan Engineering. Starting on Thursday, September 1, you will learn some basic principles of engineering design and creative idea generation, and then put those skills to use with your team to solve a design challenge. The program continues on Friday, September 2 as your team continues to push your creative and problem-solving skills to the max. No prior engineering experience is necessary; creativity and teamwork will be the most important factors for success
