The Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award is a recognition program for young women ages 14-17 engaged in volunteer action within their communities or schools. The award is given to young women whose activities make the community and world a better place.

SIA focuses its resources on providing sustainable, measurable change in the lives of women and girls to grow our collective impact. Because of that, the board of directors decided to discontinue region and federation support for the Violet Richardson Award in order to grow SIA’s new girl program, Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls. However, clubs wishing to continue to participate can do so using the resources below.
