Wade McCree Jr. Incentive Scholarship
The Wade McCree Jr. Incentive Scholarship Program reflects a unified commitment by Michigan public universities to provide tuition scholarships in selected Michigan school districts to students who meet certain academic standards in high school.
Regardless of need, each scholar will have the average cost of tuition and fees covered through the Wade McCree scholarship. Students with a tuition-specific award will have the scholarship reduced by that amount. Students must apply by submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) each year.
Award amount
The value of this award is equal to the average cost of undergraduate tuition and fees.
If a student has other awards that exceed the grant and scholarship amount of the Wade McCree program, the student will be awarded the aid that benefits the student more.
