IBM has a long-established business, technological and social legacy in the UK. The IBM prize is awarded to the best group project in Software Product Engineering. The prize previously consisted of several goodies offered by IBM in addition to a chance to be the representative of the university at IBM’s Thinkpad challenge. Recently, the prize became a cash prize that worth £400 divided between the group members.
