THE MILDRED ENGEL NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

Interested persons must be accepted into an accredited RN nursing program and can apply by sending a copy of the Pell Grant acceptance or by submitting a resume and letter summarizing the person’s goals and financial need by July 1st of each year. Residency should be within a 40 mile radius of the Youngstown area. A yearly application will be required in order to receive continued assistance. Copies of nursing grades and a written evaluation of the student by the clinical instructor may be required when applicable. This is a wonderful opportunity for persons wishing to further their education and achieve career goals in nursing.
