- Measuring the value of college. Students, families, policymakers and educational institutions all can make better decisions with better data about the outcomes of college — employment, earnings and noneconomic results.
- Engaging employers. Employers must play a more central role in the content, delivery, and assessment of the quality of education.
- Promoting innovative approaches to college and career preparation. Tapping technology and other innovative processes and partnerships will help more students complete high-quality education and training programs more quickly, at less cost — and with better prospects for rewarding careers.
- Streamlining key education transitions. Connecting at-risk youth and disconnected young adults to work experience enhances their success in postsecondary education or training and subsequent careers.
